15th Edition of CII Connect Awards
While CII Tamil Nadu is involved in several initiatives on the IT sector, the highlight of them is the annual ICT Conference, ‘Connect’ organised by CII in partnership with and support / guidance of the Government of Tamil Nadu and Government of India. CII Connect has been organised as a yearly event in Chennai since 2000, with similar smaller interventions in the cities of Madurai, Salem, Coimbatore and Tuticorin since 2015.
CII Connect has evolved into as one of the State’s largest gathering of stakeholders from the Government (the Hon’ble CM of Tamil Nadu has inaugurated Connect in almost all editions), Tech Guru’s, CEOs, IT Professionals, Thought Leaders and Decision Makers from the entire value chain of ICT. CII Connect has provided thought leadership to key pathbreaking initiatives by the Government of Tamil Nadu like the formation of ICT Academy, Specialized IT Parks in Tier II & III cities, the Aero Park, MRO hub and the IT consortium for skill development. These initiatives have resulted in job opportunities to millions of people and enabled the State maintain its position as the most favored ICT destination of choice.
In an effort to acknowledge the outstanding contribution of successful entrepreneurs in the ICT & Technology Sector, CII jointly with GoTN proudly announces the “15th Edition of CII Connect Awards” to respect, recognise and rejoice leaders in the IT, ICT and Technology sectors of Tamil Nadu.
